Norsk Offshore Catering AS (NOC), a 100% subsidiary of
Renaissance Services SAOG (Renaissance), has been
awarded three new contracts by Maersk Contractors
Norge AS (Maersk), for provision of catering services
in the Norwegian sector of the North Sea oil & gas
industry. Two 3-year contracts are for services to
Offshore Rigs – Maersk Inspirer & Maersk Guardian and
a third 1-year contract is for services to FPSO
Alvheim owned by Marathon and managed by Maersk. All
three contracts have options for extension. The total
value of the contracts is in the region of US$18
million.
Renaissance Services SAOG is one of the largest
services companies listed on the Muscat Securities
Market. The largest proportion of Renaissance business
is engaged in providing quality services to the oil &
gas industry, where it is a leading turnkey contract
services provider; and has one of the top 10 support
vessel fleets in the world with a significant presence
in the Gulf, the Caspian region and S.E. Asia.
Renaissance is recognized as an Omani public company
with substantial international credentials,
successfully exporting its services abroad.
Renaissance 2006 revenue is estimated to be in the
region of RO 135 million (US$350 million) up from RO
106.4 million (US$276 million) the previous year.

Maersk Inspirer
It is currently in the Haugasund shipyard in
Norway where it is being converted from a drilling
unit to a production platform for Statoil. |
Maersk Guardian
A jack up drilling unit presently in Rotterdam
shipyard where it is being upgraded for the
Norwegian offshore drilling market.
It is contracted to BP. |

Alvheim FPSO
It is owned by Marathon, managed by Maersk and is
a storage unit for the production of oil and gas
in the Alvheim field. This system replaces having
to have a pipeline to transport either oil and/or
gas from the field.
It is in the shipyard at Haugasund where it is
being upgraded.
